June 23-25: Join us as we celebrate four fabulous decades of R. John Wright creations, 1976-2016, with “A Time to Remember: R. John Wright Dolls Convention.” Activities include luxury coach transportation from the Desmond Hotel in Albany to Bennington, approximately an hour away. Visitors will tour the R. John Wright workshop, design studio, and showroom, where rare pieces will be available for purchase. There will be a catered luncheon in a festival tent overlooking Vermont’s lovely green mountains as well as side trips to Bennington points of interest. At the Desmond Hotel, there will be additional programs and exhibits, and a festive luncheon with costume competition. Breakout ticketed meal events, centering on R. John Wright doll history, will include themed decorations, door prizes, favors, and souvenirs. Exclusive workshops will also be offered for those creatively inclined.
