July 20: Doors open at 4:30, Camper Dance Performance 5:30, show starts at 6. “Farm to Ballet.” Full-length performance reinterpreting classical ballet pieces to tell the story of a Vermont farm from spring to fall. July 18–21: This four-day festival boasts an exciting lineup of classes, performances, lectures, and free community events throughout downtown Brattleboro. SVDF truly offers something for everyone: professional dancers, dance students, and dance enthusiasts alike! SVDF will feature more than 90 dance classes, dozens of free community events, and five ticketed dance concerts—including at Latchis Theatre and the Stone Church—and the return of the Midsummer Night’s Picnic and Promenade Dance Performance. The picnic is the festival’s most popular event. Tickets are expected to sell fast.
