Shop on: Vermont studio tours

Renowned Southern Vermont artisans will open their studios this holiday season. The Putney Craft Tour (www.putneycrafts.com) celebrates 41 years, with participating studios open Nov. 29 and 30 and Dec. 1.

Every spring and fall, the Vermont Crafts Council (www.vermontcrafts.com) organizes statewide studio tours. The fall tour takes place Oct. 5 and 6.

If you are not participating in an open-studio tour, contact artists in advance for an appointment. Most studios are open year-round.
