May thru June 23: Arlington’s Canfield Gallery, in partnership with the American Museum of Fly Fishing, presents The ART of Angling, celebrating the artistic heritage of the legendary river, which has been painted by important artists from Ogden Pleissner and John Atherton to George Van Hook and Galen Mercer. Based on the theme “Fly Fishing in North America,” the exhibit features more than 30 pieces in a range of media by 13 artists from Arlington to British Columbia, including Van Hook, Mercer, John Richards, Diane Michelin, Luther Hall, and William Simpson.
