Talk of the Arts

The Arts and Southern Vermont

ONE GREAT LITTLE MAGAZINE (that’s what they tell us.)

VTartisanscarol_keiser_10_08Back in the 60s or earlier, Vermont was not known for the arts. What’s happened? Vermont is no longer just a winter skiing destination. When people are enticed to come here in the summer, it is an eye-opening experience. They get to enjoy a whole different cultural experience…and they love it.

And, that’s what we’re all about—promoting that arts and creative energy that is driving a new audience for Vermont. We’ve got the galleries, museum, theaters, shops, inns and restaurants covered.

Snow or not snow, no matter the season, we focus on the creative, cultural and entrepreneurial side of Vermont. That’s our Vermont—the passionate entrepreneurs, creative professionals, artists and artisans who are constantly popping up. It’s obvious that they have great stories to tell—and we want to share them.

Our magazine is free with support from our advertisers. We hope you will join our effort in promoting the under-recognized but growing part of Vermont’s cultural tourist economy.

Happy fall to all.
